about
Frontman Harry Ward explains ‘Originally the song was called the 2 Minute Song. We wanted a Sonic Blast / Bombastic 120 seconds to open our live shows. Lyrically the song represents our obsession with consumerism and sex, and the romanticised ideas surrounding modern relationships. The song encapsulates our thoughts on what makes the world go round, and the pressures and expectations that we are surrounded by as a society”.

*STARTS*
How come it's so easy for everyone but me?
Books, movies, TV, no answers no keys,
I've tried to be a romantic cliche,
Yeah hang upside down in the rain,
I've bought flowers and chocolates,
It always, always ends the same.

What does everybody want?
What does everybody need?
Turn your world around clockwise,
Baby, I'm down on my knees,
I want to be your Jack yeah I swear I'll never let go,
Just show me the ropes Cupid,
Your my arrow and I'll be your bow. Alright.
S E X C E S S
Your here, your there, your everywhere,
Sun, rain, wind and snow I'll be there,
I sent in my CV so teach me,
You make it look so easy,
Is there a rule book or have I just read the blurb,
I'm rolling backwards, I missed the biting point I'm going to hit the curb.
Everyone else can so why can't I?
S E X C E S S
Just wanna be a Sexcess.
